The Magoki-Attori Mosque (9th century) is one of the first mosques in Bukhara that dates back to the pre-Islamic era. The history of the Magoki-Attari mosque dates back to the distant Sogdian antiquity, when the Mokh market, named after the Moon, was located on this site. People traded idols, medicines and spices here. The building has an amazing variety of architectural styles dating back to different historical eras.
